ABOUT THIS BOOK
Partner dance used to be part of the social fabric of Western society. The first president of the U.S. George Washington was known to be an excellent partner dancer and did not hold back in publicly expressing his love for this type of dance. Unfortunately, times have changed and a stigma has evolved around the act of partner dancing. In the last decade, a new partner dance style has stepped on the world stage named urban kiz. The manifestation of social art through the interactions between mind and body in this style of dance has more layers than you would expect.
This book is a mixture of:
1) A review of the science behind partner dance
2) My training notes
3) My experiences in learning how to perform this partner dance.
The result of this mixture is an analysis that led to unexpected new insights about dance and partner dance in specific. Reading this book will help you see more of the beauty of partner dance and how it can bring positive change in our lives.
